Check in was really simple. I have a service dog with me and the woman checking me I was polite and welcomed her as much as she welcomed my human family. The areas are very clean and all the workers was very nice and accommodating

Choose Days Inn your next trip
I have been staying at the Days Inn for over 15 years during my quarterly travels and have never had a problem with reservations, being able to ascertain the room that is most convenient for my stay, and have always had access to Anytime Fitness across the street for no charge. They go out of their way make sure my stay is perfect. As long as they are in business, I will stay here - I recommend you consider Days Inn during your next stay in Carroll.

This property was really good value for money. It was easy to locate. We found the rooms to be clean and front staff friendly. There was a continental breakfast which served its purpose. I was really haply with our experience

It has been updated & so nice & clean.. King room was a nice size with a leather type chair & ottoman & was reasonably priced. Can't comment on pool becuz we didn't bring our suits, looked nice tho. I wish we'd had time to stay another night & sightsee some. The breakfast was very minimal but I reckon ok. Cold cereal, toast, over ripe fruit, yogurt, & some egg things shaped like a taco & wrapped, they were probably frozen & thawed out??? Maybe you're to put them in the microwave? Not appetizing at all. Husband had toast & I had a waffle. Nothing else looked good to us. But the nice place was more important to us than a breakfast.

There were pieces of french fries on the floor and other food items. I'm not sure it had even been vacuumed. The staff was great and the bed and bathrooms were clean, which was a big plus. Overall a good stay.

Disappointing stay
General observations: My king room was okay, tho the bed was way too soft for my comfort. Nice assortment of pillows and a fairly comfortable upholstered chair and ottoman were a plus. The continental breakfast was very basic and featured frozen cheese omelets that you had to do in a microwave. The saving grace of my stay was the staff; they were friendly and helpful. I first stayed here several years ago and decided to give them another try--I hoped they had updated and fixed the humidity problem in the rooms. Sadly, I was disappointed; while the hotel is very clean and maintained, and some upgrades have been made, they still have a problem with high humidity in the rooms (even with the air conditioner on). Clothes and bedding feel damp, towels don't dry completely . . . it would probably be a good idea to replace all the AC units and the carpets. If they do that, then it could be a very good budget-friendly hotel.

Good hotel, below average breakfast
Nice hotel, nothing fancy. Breakfast selection left something to be desired--just the usual waffle, cold cereal, toast, and some kind of microwave-able frozen omelet.
