The air conditioning did not work properly. It wouldn’t stay below 75°. We called and were told someone would check it out, but no one came. Consequently, I got very little sleep.

We stayed here to go to the Padres vs Diamondbacks game at Chase Field and it was perfect. Our king bed room was fine and had a Keurig, mini fridge and couch. Very walkable to the ballpark and to several restaurants and bars near Chase field. We parked at the parking garage next door to the hotel for $30/night that was very convenient.

This was a very nice hotel and convenient to Chase Field. However, the bathroom has a barn door, which is really uncomfortable for its lack of privacy. Additionally, I was charged for my stay at checkout, even though I had prepaid through Expedia. The person who did this was not interested in finding out the truth. AND two customer service phone numbers on the receipt are bogus. One fails to connect and the other is a scam where it tries to get you to enter your age to sell you some kind of medical device. It’s absolutely shameful that a hotel chain like Hyatt is so careless or deceitful. My inquiry into billing is still pending. Even so, that does not excuse any of these factors.

I was attending a concert at the Herberger theater, so this was the closest option to that site. The hotel is very classy and the security is good. However, the room itself seemed to prioritize looks over functionality. It almost felt like I was staying in a business office instead of being on vacation. I have stayed in other hotels a few streets over that are more comfortable and slightly cheaper. While I would consider staying at this hotel again, it will certainly not be at the top of my list of choices.
