I wish that it was more clear on Expedia and the Sonder website that this is not a hotel with a sign, lobby, and concierge to check you in.
I was here to visit my father in ICU down the street, so I was not in the mental space to do a scavenger hunt to find this place that had no sign to indicate it was Sonder, then go through my email a bunch of times to find codes to get keys from secret lockers, to find my room.
I was trying to quickly drop my stuff off and run to the hospital, and instead had several panic attacks because I didn’t know how to get in.
Once in, it was clean and nice looking, but all drained were clogged, and the bed was hard, and it was cold at night and I needed an extra blanket that was not offered in the room. After a long day at the hospital, I wanted to be able to sleep in comfort, but it was unfortunately 5 restless, mostly sleepless nights on a hard bed placed on ikea type wood slats. They don’t even have cable t.v. You have to stream something. That’s fine I guess if you have the mind to do so, but when you’re exhausted from worry like I was, you just want to flip something on. Anything. You don’t have the energy to look for something to stream.
And if your use to falling asleep watching t.v, your out of luck because there is no t.v in the bedroom I was in.
