Clean, comfortable and inexpensive
I stayed at this location in Dunn rather than in Raleigh because it looked like a nice property at a great price. It was exactly that. And it is within walking distance of a Sagebrush Steakhouse so dinner was easy too. Definitely recommended.

Upon our arrival the bathroom was dirty the tub had hair still in it. I advised the front desk and they acted surprised. We couldn’t store any beverages mind you it was about 90 degrees out! The fridge didn’t work and smelt so bad once we opened it our room smelt like a dead animal. The AC is very old and sounds like a washer machine on a spin cycle! I had to set it at its lowest to get the room cool and that did not work. Myself and my husband woke up sweating! Never again! The breakfast looked awful with poor presentation. The sausage looked raw so we didn’t get to take advantage of that.

Room, and bathroom were gross! Mirror in bathroom wasn't even clean, the tv had all sorts of crap all over the screen, and all furniture felt greasy. The only thing that was clean was the actual bedding.

The property was very clean. It wasn’t busy at all. Staff were friendly. Safe location just around trucks and construction. There is only 2 floors so expect to have neighbors. The only thing I didn’t like was the cleaning crew playing their music loud in the hall while cleaning rooms. ( wear headphones)

Staff was nice, but not comfortable
This was a stop along the way. Booked it for the price and incurred breakfast. Unfortunately, we didn't sleep well as bed was uncomfortable and room was cold. We couldn't control the temp. The breakfast wasn't good. The eggs were rubbery, the biscuits were and the sausage patties were hard as rocks. We had the cereal and yogurt just have something and went through a McDonald's drive thru.

The only thing about this hotel that was not that great, the air unit I believe, was on a timer and it would cut off at different intervals at night, which made the room temperature uncomfortable. You could not adjust it because the buttons did not work and the digital display was not on. I will say though during the stay I received at text asking how my stay was going and I texted about the air unit, and it stayed on the next night, so you'll have to notify front desk about the air I guess. Also, the breakfast staff literally cut the lights off on us while we were eating because it was right at 1030am time when breakfast closes. RUDE. Other than that it was okay. Customer service people were friendly, but I did really expect it to be a little more elegant than it was...
