About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Rustic Waterfront Cabin- Perfect Place to Recharge and Connect With Nature

Cabin H is situated on a secluded road amid a private, wooded and beautiful setting. Abrams Creek is near many extraordinary recreational sites, but is also its own destination. You are never far from our wild, whitewater stream that runs through a majestic hemlock forest. In some places, the stream is a constant source of energy and playfulness; in other places, it is peaceful and calming, inviting you to soak in its beauty. The forest contains a vast array of plants and wildlife.

-The Space-

This is a rustic cabin - no plumbing or electric. It has battery-powered permanent lighting and propane heat. Our summer climate and tree cover make it very rare that the cabin will be uncomfortably hot. Included in the rental are a tabletop propane stove that uses the (approximately) 1 lb canisters, and a charcoal grill. Bring your own propane canisters or charcoal, or you can purchase them from us.

The cabins are fully furnished with beds, chairs, table, and other necessary furnishings, and our guests supply their own pillows, blankets, sheets, towels, pots, pans, plates and tableware. There are bunk beds and a queen bed on the main floor, a queen mattress in one loft and two twin mattresses in the other loft. There is a private portapotty by the cabin, a showerhouse near the main lodge house, as well as sources of potable drinking water.

If you want less rustic accommodations, we have those as well, at very affordable prices.

-Guest Access-

Near the lodge house and office there is access to a phone with free calls anywhere in the US. There is no WiFi at the cabins, but there is WiFi in the vicinity of the main lodge house.

We are located within 30-45 minutes of many major recreational areas, including Blackwater Falls, Swallow Falls, Dolly Sods Wilderness, the Youghiogheny River, several ski resorts, and Deep Creek Lake. Mount Storm (3 miles) has a general store, gas station, library, motel, sports and recreation store, and public park.

-Interaction with Guests-

Guests are welcome to interact with hosts as they choose or be as private and secluded as they wish to be.

-Other Things to Note-

Our usual check in time is 3PM; you may check in anytime after 3PM until 10PM, or later by arrangement. Our usual check out time is noon. If you need more flexible check in or check out times, please contact us!

Dogs are welcome!

Quiet campground
Pretty campground along a rushing creek. Cabin was plain but adequate. Shower facilities need a good scrubbing. Enjoyed our time here. Would stay again.

The cabin had large windows with no shades making changing difficult. the fire pit was full making is impossible and dangerous to use. the camp stove was dirty, the path to the creek is dangerous, and dangerous to try to swim in it. and the beds were like sleeping on the floor. It would have been better to bring a tent because then we would have a private area to change. If you really want to r
