There was no electricity or air conditioner for the whole night. This wasn’t their fault but I tell it like it was. Couldn’t sleep it was so hot and humid! Ugh!
We would have looked elsewhere but we had driven all the way from Gulf Shores and we were beat!
There was a power outage in their 220 line. Meaning they had electricity but couldn’t power their AC units. I know this wasn’t their fault. But I wish I was notified prior to check in that this was a problem so I could’ve tried to find another place. You can’t sleep in a room that’s 90+ degrees. There was no windows that opened and no lighting for security outside due to the problem. I literally went out to my car & tried to sleep cause it was cooler. I had the windows halfway down for a breeze & had 2 different people walk up to my car wake me up trying to bum a cigarette at 2-3 am cause they saw me asleep in the car. I came back into the furnace of a room after that. I was supposed to be on the road early but I was exhausted from no sleep. Left and parked in a parking lot to catch a couple hours of sleep before I hit the road for a long day of driving. Most miserable stay of my life. No refund only an apology.

It was a fair price for the stay, but the the stairways and corridors were very dirty. The room, bed, and bathroom were all clean though. It’s an older hotel and I expected to see wear and tear on the building but the stairs, windows and corridors were just dirty. The corridor we had to walk through to get to our room had a pile of dirt in it. Almost like someone tried to sweep that floor and forgot to use a dustpan.
We needed to stay here for work purposes and it served our needs. They make sure the rooms are cleaned daily and have control of the property. This is really appreciated.
It is the most horrible place to stay in the history of ever. I was not there at check out time because I was adding money to my card to pay for the room that day and because I booked later and accidentally scheduled for the next day and not that day online they would not switch it and made me sleep outside in the cold on their pavement and made me pay them the total of the room for the night I slept on their pavement all because my belongings was in the room. Roaches to galore and 3rd floor looks like it is tilting to the point of unsafe, bad drug area and the owners are heartless and don't even accommodate any needs of yours at all. Not even when finding roaches in your room. Filthy to the point of u won't lay down without cleaning the entire room before laying your head down. An inspector needs to pay every room some mind and bulldoze that nasty place
The staff was horrid and the man that runs the place is just the most cruel an ratched of them all, heartless even. Was made to sleep outside and in their corridor because I was not there at checkout time so they kept my belongings all day all night and then charged me for the room that day when I didn't even stay in it the first night I stayed there okay had no sense because I stayed up till 6:00 a.m. cleaning the room because it was so gross I could not lay my head down or walk with my shoes off and I have pictures there is roaches and I called the front desk to tell them that I'd seen two of them in my room and they said oh we know we'll take care of you at check out and definitely did not and because we accidentally booked a smoking room instead of a non-smoking room charged me an extra $17 just to be able to get in my room after it's already been booked through hotels.com it is literally the worst hotel experience of my life there is no buses it is filthy gross there's nothing around besides a waffle House it's 30 minutes one way walking and even then at the end of that walk you're not even going anywhere special 1000% do not recommend and they probably even need an inspector to come and look at their property things that I'm on the third floor and the concrete wall looks like it's just going to fall to the parking lot completely unsafe unsanitary and should be condemned if you ask me my circumstances just unfortunately left me at this hotel. It won't let me uploaphotos
Absolutely awful. The staff, the property and the area. Do not stay here. I didn’t! After seeing my room I immediately checked out.
Locks were broken, room was old and stained.
Discusting inside rooms & outside property. Looks like they haven't swept grounds in 1 year. Buckets under a/c units threwout. Yikes. Beware. Black long hair on bathroom floor, dirty towlet with urine spatter.
When I arrived my non-smoking room reeked of smoke. The staff quickly addressed this, which was helpful and met my expectations. However, the next morning I saw a cockroach crawling near my clothes I had placed on a chair. I did not want the hassle of moving rooms again, and in my experience, cockroaches are not limited to one room. I saw another one my second night. I'm highly unlikely to go back.
