The rating for this hotel was 8.2 and it was anything but 8.2. The room was small and had an odor almost like it had been smoked in sometime in the past. The whole place needs updating. The bed and bedding are old. The carpet in the room and hallway appear to be old and not to clean. An 8.2 rating is about as high a rating you can get, but this is just crazy.

Surprise in the towel!
The motel is okay as far as a budget motel goes. The breakfast was adequate. The front desk staff were friendly. The problem arose when I went to take a shower the morning after our arrival. When I went to hang up one of the bath towels nearer the shower, a syringe dropped out of it and onto the floor. The syringe was a narrow type and thankfully the cover was on the needle. I picked it up and wrapped it in tissue. I took it to the front desk where the lady was aghast and we placed it in a plastic bag. She said she was going to notify her manager immediately and would get back to us. A day later we were checking out and I asked the the same gal at the desk if she'd heard anything. She said her manager had not gotten back to her yet. I guess management didn't think this was a big deal. Needless to say. we will not be staying here again.
