Great historic hotel beautifully renovated with a relatively new chef in place at their on site Table One restaurant. We had a wonderfully inspired dinner featuring farm to table freshness, and first rate preparation and service. We stay here every visit to Fond du Lac. You should too!

It’s been a year since I last stayed here and I must say how very much I was looking forward to my return. The hotel interior is beautifully decorated and furnished; has a very art deco feel. It smells good, the background musak is lovely. The room just feels plush, cozy, and homey when I open the door. Only thing missing was some hand lotion but that’s a very minor detail. Last visit, I loved the mattress and my only gentle complaint is that this visit, the mattress in Room 701 had a major divot on the left hand side from being well used. The linens, duvet, pillows were dream inducing. Now to the best part, the bar!! Bryton is an exemplary employee who has a true passion for crafting cocktails. So pleasant, informative, eager to give exemplary service! This young man deserves all the raises, please!!! Lol His co-worker Marcus was wonderful as well and the Turtle caramel martini I had for dessert was masterfully crafted. And shout-out to server, I believe Kaitlyn (forgive me if I’m in error)…attentive, friendly and walked both my Wilhelmina martinis that were to the very brim from the bar to my table without spilling a drop! My burger was perfectly medium as ordered and the side of Brussels were just a tad too al dente but still very delicious. I love this hotel and it’s an amazing find in such a small community as Fond du Lac. Can’t recommend more highly!

I am fascinated by the fact that there is a remote in my room, as there does not appear to be a television. I conclude that there's a television in some hidden fashion which I cannot discover. This may appear to some as sophisticated.I consider it stupid.

Unbeknownst to me prior to check in, the a bar located just across the street had a live band. They played well past 11:00 pm making sleep a goal vs a reality. The room I stayed in was small. I checked in a few hours early and was charged $60.00 extra rather than simply being handed a key to a vacant room.

This is a beautiful, elegant hotel located in Fond Du Lac. The Lobby was elegant and impressive. The rooms were tastefully decorated though not large were just right. The bed was comfortable, pillows so soft and to top it all off the TV was located tucked away in the foot of the bed with a remote control to raise and lower it. The bathroom was clean and there was a rag to remove makeup! I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again. Just one small negative: the internet was a little slow at times.

Definitely a 5 star hotel. The building inside is extremely nice, but the staff was a bit "stuffy". The room was for the most part very clean but the vent in the bathroom was filthy dirty. The bed was extremely low and just okay. I doubt that we'll stay there again on our next trip thru the area.

Front staff, told us "Our room will not be ready until 3pm" I told her I paid for early arrival (needed room to change clothes for wedding), she responded "doesn't matter, we have lots of dirty rooms still to clean", like that is my problem. After she checked our names into her computer, then she says" Oh! your room is ready". When we checked out, same staff member didn't even acknowledge us as we dropped off key cards. There also was an outside shooting that night, police everywhere, trying to locate suspect. SCARY.

This is a beautiful hotel. The interior design reminded me of European hotels but with spacious rooms and very modern amenities. In the room, the TV was in the footboard. Neat.

Hotel was' ok'. Check-in staff not very helpful. No closet or place to hang your clothes (what's with that ! ) Convenient to walk downtown area and we finally figured out the parking after driving around a bit.( Interesting TV /hidden in foot of bed w/button on the foot board. )
