Bathroom sink was clogged. The refrigerator in the room kept leaking. Staff do not care about guest experience. This could be because they are under staff or because the staff are extremely inexperienced. This should have been a $130 experience and not $600 a night. I still have no idea why they charged resort fee. Is it because of the $2 water bottle in the room, because they had nothing else to offer.

I was shocked that this was in partnership with Hilton as I felt it was a 3 star hotel at best. The pool area was dirty and the pool had missing tiles. The staff were a mix of miserable and standoffish and extremely helpful. Alex at the pool was great as was Sean in reception who could not do enough and the bar staff. Having to use your key card everywhere was very irritating. Even at the restrooms in reception and the restrooms by the pool. It was excessive and made me feel very unsafe that they felt the need to have such extreme security. The food from Riviera was very good and I loved the 2 free cocktails every day which I thought was a nice touch. The location was extremely good too.

Check in and check out were rather easy, except for someone adding a substantial erroneous charge to our room. The staff, especially, Sean (concierge), were very good (helpful and kind). The property and facilities were nice. Just be aware that there is a resort fee, which is almost $50/night with tax, which covers chairs and towels at the pool and beach (but not beach umbrellas, which are extra), evening beverages, and a few other items. The rooms are clean and spacious but the HVAC/AC is rather noisy and cycles on and off all day. There is also construction currently next door, which may continue for a lengthy period of time, which impacts one side of the hotel in particular. Overall very positive experience with good staff and nice facilities, across the road from the beach and near some shopping and restaurants.

It’s the little things that add up, the Hotel is amazing, the staff superb, Sean, Kelsey and Robert went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant, thanks to them and their colleagues we had a fantastic stay.
