First, I will never use Travelocity again because the way the property treated me as a Travelocity customer. They do not like Travelocity customers, and I quote "oh, you are one of those third party people". And, the pictures about Harbor Sands Resort are not what we saw when we checked in, nor is it the room we got. We and to pay hundreds more to get the room we paid for.

Maintenance needed for the rooms. The blinds near the window needs to be upgraded. I was upgraded to a room and the blinds was still an issue. You could've seen inside the hotel room because there are multiple gaps in the blinds.

The property, lobby and pool area are lovely, not so much the room. The hotel/motel is old and run down. Our room was a decent size, but the bathroom (just toilet and tub, sink outside) was so small and tight you couldn’t turn around. The door out to the tiny balcony was stuck shut. There was one face cloth, hand towel and bath towel per person, and no bathmat. The slippery tub was ancient with a dripping shower and mildewed shower curtain. The free breakfast was a cardboard box with a small bottle of water, apple, small yogurt and an overly processed little muffin. Parking is $25/day, but the valet was nice.

I wouldn’t recommend to a dog . Absolutely horrific and overly priced . No water to bath and when it came on it was hazardous. Valle parking is a sham . Sheets were dirty and the tub smelled horrendous.

Hotel is newly renovated. Beautiful nautical style rooms. Great pool outback with intercoastal view. Pool is heated. They are renovating a restaurant on property. But have a great seaside bar with food, which was fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel. Can do taco Tuesday. $10 for two tacos and $10 house margaritas. Also have the Water Taxi that stops there if you want to catch a ride on that.

Rude staff, they find reasons to charge you extra. I was locked out of the room for a full day because their lock broke or whatever the case was , I didn’t make it a big deal until they wanted to charge me $450 for parking 2 cars there. Dirty rooms , got charged and blamed for smoking there. Spend your time n money elsewhere, wouldn’t even recommend this to a homeless.
