The hotel was comfortable and clean I asked for a room not on the first floor and was told the 2nd and 3rd floors were closed for the season Then saw people in second floor room and had someone thumping around early in the morning.

Simple, basic accomodation very close the park. We found it easy, convenient and affordable for the area. Service was decent and rooms were clean, with microwave and fridge. Look out for wildlife around when you open the door, and be aware that it is a 2 storeyed motel so no elevators. Great otherwise and will stay again if we have to.

The double queen room had ample space, with a lot of desk counter space and a couch. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk to get breakfast across the street, and supper just down the street. There is not a 24-hour front desk, but they make arrangements if you let them know you will be arriving late.

Funny- the Elk are all around. Very unusual, and somewhat scary, for us but We loved the room, the fact that we could park close by. Would have liked a large bathtub but overall liked the room and bathroom. We really liked the little town and made use of the resturants. Enjoyable.
