I didn't like the fact that there was an alarm test during breakfast with ear-splitting alarms going off. Don't know if that could have been done differently. I wished there was a business center so I would not have to wake my family when I had a work meeting. The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. The grounds are beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable. The building was also gorgeous. Wish there was a microwave in the room to heat up food delivered. Will definitely come again.

Rough start but they made it right
Booked on hotels.com, but when we showed up they said they didn’t have our reservation. There was a rager of a wedding there that night. We showed up as a bedraggled party of 10 with 4 kids in our party after our flights had been delayed 3 nights. Fortunately, when they saw we were like sheep without a shepherd, they had compassion for us and got us rooms, despite the rooms being in theory booked by Delta for their delayed customers.

Over all a very bad experience and total rip off in hotel price. This is not a hotel for people other than those hosting/staying at events or conferences. You feel very much unwelcome here. Staff really lacking in basic customer service (got barked at when I asked where the hotel lobby was). Very bad food and tepid drinks in the only food option open at the pool till 4 pm. Rooms run down. No restaurant so had to scramble for dinner. Really felt trapped in this place that lures people by its title “Mansion” - it’s far from it, and moreover, even the Mansion bits of the hotel are off limits for guests. Please avoid this “hotel.”

The property is nice but just to be clear you’re not staying in The Mansion. The hotel is an extension off back the mansion in a 2 story brick building dormitory style lacking in any character or charm of Mansion. My room was nice and clean but I was in the newer extension, FAR away from the Mansion not conducive for handicap people and not wheelchair friendly lacking in ramps. The property is under construction as the older sections rooms are dated and small so it’s not consistent experience. I would NOT stay there again as I was charged a $120 pet fee for my trained “Service Dog” I’ve had him for almost 9yrs and have NEVER been charged a “PET” fee for my “Service Dog” be it on a plane or hotel. I’m HHonors Gold as well as Bonvoy. This is NOT compliant with ADA Federal Laws and neither of the front desk manager seemed to care even after bringing it to their attention, in person via email and by phone. Personally I’d stick with one of the major hotel brands as it’s seems like they just try to nickel and dime you for everything. Mediocre at best.
