Really glad I found this gem right in the center of Helen. Floors are wood/ no smell/ comfy beds/ great staff/ decent breakfast/ no elevator but it’s only 2 floors. Lots of dining options around. Would highly recommend and stay here again.

Our door was wide open to our room when we went to it and it was cold outside and the room was too when we came back in from dinner our key didn’t work and the next two didn’t either my husband had to walk to the office twice before we got a key that would let us in The tv didn’t work and someone had to come down and start it And there was no soap in our bathroom to take a shower !!!

The place was very good for the price. The indoor pool room was a fascination for my 7yr old son. The only thing is the handicappped room had a metal projection from the side of the bed that hurt my foot so bad the night of our stay that I had to lay down. I spoke with a repair man passing as we left and he said he would take care of it. Otherwise nice stay.

We evacuated from Hurricane Milton with my elderly parents. When we arrived we were told that our rooms were on the second floor and that there was no elevator. Other rooms sold out. I barely got my mother up the stairs, and this meant she didn't want to go back out until we checked out and helped her back down. Additionally, we found the tubs/showers in both rooms to be extremely slippery. There was one grab bar on the outside of the tub, but nothing on the inside to grab for safety. I have never made reservations at a hotel that was so inaccessible, without a warning of no elevator. I usually do not request handicapped accessible rooms because we do not want to take a room from someone in a wheelchair, who absolutely cannot get up the stairs. The surrounding area was adorable, but I would choose a more handicapped-friendly hotel.
