The rooms are big and clean but have old toilets and the coffee maker was old and dirty. The outer hallway had super old carpet and an old smell. Breakfast was mediocre at best. You can tell at one time this was a nice place but no one has renovated or even kept up with repairs. The outside river side was deteriorated and needed maintenance. Great location on the river!! Restaurants close by. Not horrible but could sure use a lot of work!!

We’ve been on the road,,, in small Wyoming towns for 9 days. This is the nicest hotel we’ve stayed in. Very nice room, very good price. Good breakfast. River walkway out the back door.

What a great find! Very spacious room with a sofa and a table--and a small kitchenette. It was plenty of room for two people. Staff were excellent and friendly. Restaurant served a good dinner. Very reasonably priced hotel on the waterfront.

The room was clean but the whole thing needs some restoring. The smell turned me off and then they said it included breakfast and it was awful. Eggs were green. Ham looked disgusting. Offered oatmeal but ran out and had nothing to replace it with. The only thing we dared eat was the cereal. I had stayed there years ago and loved it. Definitely not the same anymore.

The hotel is very large and not very busy while we were there. Our room was large and very comfortable. They have an indoor pool and jacuzzi that are beautiful and very clean. Wish we had brought our swimsuits. There is also a walking trail that many locals use behind the property. The hotel is very elegant but very dated. With some updates, it could be breathtakingly elegant again. Breakfast was ok, nothing better than most hotels. Driveable to several restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

This was basic accommodations. The Inn has seen better times and needs a complete refresh to compete with nearby properties. The location is excellent with direct access to the riverside walkway and just a short walk to restaurants. It appeared to maybe be a mom and pop business. The staff was very nice and check in and out was easy. Also dog friendly. Lots of parking.

The Idaho Falls Shilo Inn has a beautiful view over the river, the island with the historic Keefer log cabin, and the Idaho Falls Temple. It was clearly a beautiful hotel when it was first constructed. Our stay was okay. The pool is large and the hours are great. The breakfast bar was okay, but lacking. It could really use a few cupboard doors (no one wants to see wires and pipes through lower cabinets), new serving dishes (damaged old plastic tubs are just distasteful), and individual servings of yogurt/milk/butter and a must. A large communal serving bowl of yogurt and margarine isn't best. The room was generally clean, but cobwebs in the windows and fingerprints on the door are just not pleasant. Overall, I would stay again as the price was good and it was ok, but recommend that they make a few changes to give it a better atmosphere.

The hotel only had one of my reservations thru expedia, fortunately I was able to get the second room at check in.. extremely annoying issue!This has happened twice to me now thru Expedia’s reservation app. The Rooms were sufficiently quiet and clean with the expected fridge, microwave and coffee maker, hair dryer and iron. All worked well. The tv remote had limited features, no channel guide or CC, and under twenty channels to choose from. The parking lot is a mess with lots of broken pavement and outside landscaping is old and poorly cared for. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay again if needed
