This is a beautifully remodeled unit. You can escape into your air conditioned large 1 bedroom home that has very nice finishes and a large out door patio. Located near the "Triangle" famous for its restaurants, lively bars, gift shops. Near grocery stores, shopping, and parks. The beach is wonderful for taking classes to learn how to surf, play sand volleyball, or watch the amazing sunsets. This is the perfect unit for you. Relax by the pool and enjoy the wonderful sunset in the evening.

Kalama Terrace is located in beautiful South Maui where rain is a rarity - almost assuring you of a warm, sunny vacation. We're only a 30 minute drive from the airport so within a very short time from your arrival on Maui, you can be beach strolling, sunning, swimming and just enjoying the tropical setting of our beautiful island home. And, since 'our' beach faces the western horizon, you will enjoy some of the most memorable, awe-inspiring sunsets you will see anywhere.

We provide all the amenities needed for a relaxing vacation. Our condo has a fully stocked Kitchen, Bathroom with tub and shower, Queen sized pillow-topped bed, Full sized sofa sleeper, all linens, A/C, a 26' flat screen TV/Cable, high speed WiFi. We also provide a hair dryer, iron & ironing board, and a 'Maui Revealed' book to help you plan your days' adventures.

Our complex is a short 2 block scenic walk south to Charley Young Beach, one of the nicest beaches on Maui for swimming, sunning or snorkeling with an ambiance of old Hawaii. Adjoining Charley Young to the south is Kamaole I Beach which has a volley ball court, BBQ grills and a long stretch of sandy strolling beach, then continuing south are Kamaole II and III. All have lifeguards on duty during the day. To make your beach trips more enjoyable, there are beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and a portable cooler awaiting your use in the unit. Sorry no snorkeling gear.

Great stay, convenient location and amenities
Great, central location with easy walking distance to beaches, restaurants, and grocery. The property was clean, the pool was nice to have. the condo is well equipped with dishes, water bottles, blender, ice chests, beach chairs, beach towels, snorkel masks, etc. Overall great stay. Room to improve: the room was still being cleaned when we arrived at 4 so we had to wait in the parking lot. The headboard on the bed squeaks against the wall with the slightest movement. I draped a towel behind it to make it stop during our stay. Placing some furniture pads would probably work to fix this. The tile by the door is loose and needs some work. The shower head pressure is very hard and hurts - especially your more sensitive areas (and sunburns!). I resorted to taking baths. It would be great if the pressure could be turned down. Overall, nothing too inconvenient and I would return to this location.

Awesome location less than 5 minute walk from the best beach, shops and tons of restaurants . The property was clean and the bed comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied and you were given a weeks worth of supplies. We stayed a month and enjoyed all the property offered including the barbecue, pool and our lanai. Having said all that the unit was tired and could use an update, especially the screen door which was barely functional..

Location to beaches and shops was awesome. Beach towels provided were great. Also appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella and sand toys for the littles (even though chairs and umbrella were pretty old and worn). The floor was pretty gross, turned our feet black within minutes of walking around. The toiletries "starter pack" was ridiculous (2 rolls for 12 nights and expected to buy more ourselves). Overall good enough place for a 'slightly' cheaper accommodation.

Reasonable, lower budget Maui getaway
Three friends traveled to Maui and enjoyed the lovely beaches. Easy to walk to beaches and restaurants. Highlights of our condo:clean, nice line es and clean floors with plenty of kitchen cooking amenities. We loved the beach umbrella and cooler! Apartment is clean, we did run out of our two rolls of toilet paper for eleven days for three people. We didn’t have beach towels or shampoo or conditioner. I’d also recommend bringing extra towels. Overall a pleasant experience!

Good location in town. Property itself is older and bit dingy. The shower/tub had an extremely slow drain. The beach chairs are old and stained. Nowhere to hang wet swimwear or towels.
