Refrigerator did not work, service tech did not respond, front desk was unavailable and I had to leave a message after lengthy phone recording options. After waiting an hour the room got warm and found out that the A/C did not work as well. Went down to the front desk and had to threaten to get a refund before the clerk offered to move me to a new room. They finally moved me to a new room the was 5 floors lower and the view not as nice. I should have stayed at Harare’s accross the street.

No frills, great location, friendly staff
The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The bath tub was super small and dingy and didn’t hold water well. We really struggled with the fact that we couldn’t directly call the front desk and had to jump through hoops to talk to them. There were a few times when our calls went completely unanswered. The black out lights do not fully black out the room, so be warned. No microwave, no mini-fridge but we were able to request which was Great. The room itself was bare bones, but for a place to sleep and relax it did the trick.

Room was clean and comfortable; great water pressure and plenty of hot water. BUT, this place really needs renovation. I mean, wallpaper hanging in strips from the walls! It would also be nice to have the diner open for dinner. Very limited food choices unless you’re willing to pay for Hells Kitchen. Lastly, we were disappointed in the service. No housekeeping and we had to wait 12 hours for fresh wash cloths to be delivered. Still paying resort fees for these properties and we were charged additional for parking. Just kind of a sad property

The room is large and fairly clean. There are some areas with dust, but nothing unusual. There are 3 things in the room that they can improve easily that will enable a better guest experience. 1. The water pressure is poor. I don't know its because of the poor shower head, where some of the water jets were clogged ot just poor water pressure. 2. PLEASE replace the pillow. One of the worst pillows that i have ever slept on in my 40 years of traveling. It is completely flat with no cushion whatsoever. 3. The bed was not comfy at all. I guess for a night or 2 then its fine, but if you are staying longer, then be forewarned.

So we had this reservation done like six months ago and then when we show up, they tell us that they overbooked so we ended up going to the smokers area. There was nothing we could do so we had to take unfortunately that room and that was some bologna because five months before we had done the reservation five months, the only thing that came up was we were comped 100.00
