This was the worst hotel stay ever. We booked two suites and one was not ready for a couple of hours after the check in time. Also, our room had a terrible view and we asked to upgrade both suites. This took 4 hours! In the meantime, we waited in the suite with the terrible view. We kept calling for updates, put on hold for 20 minutes each time, only to hear that they had no idea when our room would be ready. When one suite was finally ready, I asked that they bring the keys to us which they said they would do, but we had to go down to get them from the desk. I asked to be compensated for the wait and terrible service and was told that I would get $150 in food/drink applied to my account. Upon checkout, this was not applied and I had to go to the front desk to request it. The main person who was "helping" me with the rooms was borderline rude and totally unhelpful. She first told me that they would not charge me for the upgrade to the room in addition to the $150, then checked with a manager and said I still had to pay for the upgrade. For how expensive the room was and how expensive the upgrade was, the terrible service was inexcusable.

The woman who helped us in check-in really just set the tone for what I would call a welcoming and lovely environment at The Palazzo. Of all the hotels and casinos, the Venetian has the best filtration system for smells and cigarette smoke. If that matters to you, I highly recommend you stay here. It’s a beautiful hotel, conveniently located, staffed with friendly people, and smells the best. It is not as posh as encore or Wynn, but the staff and the vibe are so much friendlier that I prefer it.

Room did not have a coffee maker. The refrigerator was fully stocked but if you touched anything you had to pay for it. There was no room for you to put your own water or food in the refrigerator. Not allowed at the pool after 7pm. Other than that, it was a very nice hotel.

Expedia could give a beverage credit to both occupants of the VIP room. Also $14 for coffee room service is ludicrous. Just the delivery fee to the room.They should have coffee machines in room. Also the fridge has no space to put anything in because if you move anything from the weighted area you will get charged.

The Palazzo (Or Venetian) are both fantastic hotels. The rooms are great, very large when compared to competitors. Love the layout and never feel cramped.
