This property is aged and needs much updating. Old wrinkled carpets, torn drapes, garden view is a gross water holding pond. Lounge chairs by the pool are saggy and old. No food or beverage service by the pool. The beach is small and has a natural rock shelf just a few feet out. Not a good swimming beach. The flight path flies right over the pool area. We could hear flights all night long from our room. Parking lot is a bit of a walk, feels longer when it's raining. Resort charged me parking and resort fees at check in. Thought the resort fees were included in the trip package. Positive is the few staff members are kind and friendly. Our room was clean. Wish they included tea instead of just coffee in the room. Also not mentioned, they have a Starbucks counter by the gift shop. Wish I knew before day 4. Also the gift shop has a sundries display in case you forgot something. Nice gifts, pricing about the same as elsewhere on the island. Would I stay here again, no.

With Outrigger repurchasing this property they have made significant investments since our 2019 visit resulting in a much higher quality product and experience. We were very impressed. Do know however that there are resort and parking fees totaling about $70 per day on top of room charges so plan for that in your budget.

This resort was a great place to stay! The staff was very friendly and our room was very clean and we had a very comfortable bed! Have already recommended this property to other friends and family! Will definitely go back to stay again! We had a wonderful time!

We stayed for 6 nights with our 2 kids and absolutely loved it. The hotel was clean, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The ocean view room cannot be beat, you’ll be sleeping and waking up to the sound of the ocean and a wonderful view. Although, please note that they do not have room service at this hotel, and the beds need to be replace imo - too soft and uncomfortable. There’s a restaurant and bar on the ground floor. Check out the beach - it is swimmable and the kids loved it, sadly there’s lots of microplastics that wash ashore, but still, a beautiful beach. We will be coming back!

It’s really nice, first time back after outrigger bought it, I miss some of the other stuff they had but the staff is really friendly. The housekeeper was AWESOME. Front desk was okay, restaurant had amazing staff as well. The pools are always nice.

Not a great option if you want to lay out on the sand. Cant really swim on the beach either. No airport shuttle and are doing repairs on the property . Over was ok. I would not stay again for those reasons.

The room furnishings and bathroom have seen better days. There is no descent beach area although it is oceanfront. The pool was very nice and the poolside bar with the ability to order food and drinks was convenient and staff was friendly. It’s very close to the airport.

It was a great location and the property was very expansive and beautifully landscaped. The ocean is the backdrop. Very close to shopping and the fern grotto. The food at the hotel was fantastic. The happy hour in shutters bar accompanied by amazing entertainment made for a great evening. The lights at night on the property are magical. Staff are fun and helpful.

The pool area seemed a little rundown needs to be remodeled. Other than that really can’t complain bellhops valet service was very friendly very helpful all in all really nice place. I guess the side of the island on they get a lot of trash from the ocean so the beach is very dirty. But there’s nothing the hotel could do about that. Kawaii is very beautiful hotel is close to the airport. Restaurants are decent on the resort. Definitely would go back again.
