If you have kids DONT BOOK!! Disappointed!! I travelled with my wife and 2 kids (3 and 4 yr old) checked in at midnight and it was quick, friendly front desk person, ad I walked in the room, at first room seem kinda outdated, old dark carpet with huge stains, night stand had a broken piece of wood with 4 nails sticking out (my 2 kids were with me so red flags started raising). Walked in the bathroom and the light fixture on the ceiling was very very outdated and spider webs around it. Rooms smell kinda moldy. Wife woke up early and she noticed 2 roaches in the bathroom the 1st night and 2nd night!!! All I got from the front desk was “sorry to hear that I will my manager know” disappointment!!! Not worth it!!!

Great place overall. Cleanliness A .Needed a place to stay the night before the event on Saturday and found an available room so I booked it. Check in was a breeze thanks to the Front Desk Clerk Josh😁. Later that night I realized I forgot my phone charger and I went downstairs and asked Josh if he had a charger so I can charge my phone and luckily he was more than happy to help. Definitely had a great experience with my stay. Thank you Josh. Glendale express hotel is lucky to have a great worker like you . Keep up the great work.

The old vibe was good. I expected it to be older and not as modern, the price reflected it. But it was clean, furniture was fine. The “breakfast” was a pop tart. Which… I guess you don’t get something at every hotel but there is a microwave on the lobby table for the entire hotel. No napkins or paper plates out. I planned ahead and bough breakfast but don’t have high expectations.

Awful this time Around. Check in, As soon as i got to the room, I saw big Cockroach. Told the front desk, told me theres no more room Available. Went to the store bought a cockroach spray, and spray all over the Room. Went out for few hours, Came back to the room, Bangggg so a small spider crawling up the pillows. Family so disgusted with this hotel. Front desk didnt offer any room . And paid $150 a night for two days.

Stayed for 2 nights here and when we arrived our room had cockroaches all over the dresser and behind wall! Could not believe it. They did put us in another room which was better but most of the outlets did not work for charging which was frustrating and we were paranoid of seeing more bugs. Was okay just for sleeping at night but otherwise needs some serious updating/better cleaning service. Staff was otherwise very nice but would never stay here again

We enjoyed our stay for a Dodgers game. Good size rooms but a bit outdated. Biggest bang for your buck, downtown Glendale is down the street.

Great middle class hotel in Los Angeles area
This is supposed to be a 2 star hotel, but it had 3 star quality. The outdoor pool was large, clean and very refreshing. Be careful using the CVS machine in the hall, it tripped a fraud report on my debit card. They dont have a free breakfast, but there is coffe and pop tarts and cereal, yogurt, milk and other things for sale in the lobby. In a nice area of town with lots of restaurants nearby. In general, a GREAT hotel and I WOULD stay here again! 15 minutes from Universal studios. An older property, so older tiles and plumbing fixtures, but in good shape overall. NOT a 5 star, that is for sure, but if you are a middle class family, this is just what the doctor ordered.
