Quaint upscale hotel, very homey vibes the queen bed room was a little tight in the bedroom area, the bathroom are VERY big, but bathtubs are small. Decor is very nice throughout the whole hotel, the vibe is super nice. Pool area and casita/bar area are very cool. The smell of the lobby is lovely too. Great place overall, in a convenient location. Close to the Fig, crypto arena, and a lot of other downtown attractions. The best part of the visit was the friendly staff, and especially the fact they were able to accommodate our very early check in.

Unfortunately one of the beds was very soft and failing on each side. It made it very hard to stay in the bed without rolling off. This was very disappointing for a luxury hotel.

Room on 12th floor had bed bugs. I went to bed late around 2 am after finishing work on the desk and had to change room late night. Night staff was helpful.

I thoroughly enjoyed my excellent stay at Hotel Figueroa. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. The area around the hotel is a bit dodgey but location on S Figueroa Street is good. All staff at the hotel that I came across were friendly, attentive and professional. I would specifically like to mention Nicole (reception) and Stephanie in the downstairs restaurant/cafe for their outstanding service. I would definitely stay here again.

It was very hot!
The lobby was extremely hot and so was the restaurant. My spouse asked one of the servers if the air conditioner was working because it was hot and he replied, Well, it's hot everywhere, even outside." I thought that was completely unnecessary. No one could even tell us if the lobby/restaurant had a working air conditioner.

Hotel is beautiful. Lots of art and updated features. We did have a problem with our window shades, and the shower and sink didn’t drain very well and drains smelled. Staff were nice though. Our room wasn’t cleaned the last day we were there, so we didn’t get our $30 worth of boxed water, but cleaning before was very thorough. Would stay again. Neighborhood was near ghetto, but was safe. We walked to a couple places at night, never felt unsafe. Generally a good stay.
