Overall we had a nice stay at The Audemar. The rooms are nicely decorated, beds are comfortable, and there are lots of businesses and restaurants within walking distance. This hotel was in a noisier part of the city, but that's a bit to be expected being in DTLA. You can also tell that the building is old because you can hear people in the hallway pretty clearly, and if there is a room above you, you can hear their footsteps. Accessing the building as well as the room via keycode was nice in some cases, but I couldn't help but feel like it was a bit of a security issue in case someone didn't close the door fully. Especially since there isn't really a staff presence so you can't be sure something will be handled quickly if there were to be an issue. Despite the negatives, it was still a great and affordable place to stay, and I would visit The Audemar again if I was looking for a hotel!
