Horrible service, our shower was broken for 3 days and had to ask three times before anyone would come fix it. The front desk in the main lobby gentleman working lied to me twice about talking to the manager. Then on the 4th day our waiter at breakfast told us we did not have breakfast included. When we booked it said breakfast was included and when we checked in the gentleman that checked us in confirmed that. So when I spoke with Wendy the manager she told be no one told us that. We have a party of 7 that confirmed what he had said but she told me that was untrue . so I am a liar. We will never come back to this hotel. Horrible service. They don’t care about their guests, once you’re here they are paid. Do not stay at this hotel they are unprofessional and will not take care of their guests.

The positives are the staff, the property grounds and the view. I don't care for all-inclusive resorts because I like to spend a lot of time outside the hotel, so I did not choose that option, but the people that do like that seemed to be having a good time with the activities. If I wanted to stay in the hotel the whole time, my rating might be higher. The negatives for me are the rooms are dated and they smell bad, probably because of the humidity - our humidifier wasn't working, so everything was wet in the room. The hotel is forty-one years old and the lobby was under renovation, so it was not usable and there was construction noise all day. The beach, while nice, is dangerous to swim due to a strong undertow - Medano beach is much nicer. Lastly, we had to walk from the hotel to the gated entrance to catch Ubers or taxis several times per day, so that was inconvenient.

Property was great. Pool was fun. Beach wasn’t very swimable. Dinner was extremely pricey and so were drinks by the pool. All inclusive highly recommended! They were remodeling, and a lot of areas were closed. The concierge is very pushy and followed us around to get us to do stuff we already said no. Told us things staff later said no that’s not allowed! Room service knocked on the door quite often. Room was very clean and nice. I didn’t like the pillows. Fluffy and too high for me. We had our own kitchen. Cooked some of our own food and drank and ate in our room. Shows at night were cool, just basic sound tracks of the shows or theater acts. 2 min Uber ride to Walmart, 5 minute Uber ride to the Marina or town. 10 minute walk to a more calmer part of the beach. Access to 2 other hotels to eat at, all very pricey also. Good family vibe! Only one slide, goes pretty fast.

I should have been notified that the property was under construction before I placed my down payment. The whole main area was closed off. We listened to jackhammers all day at the pool. I never would have spent the money to stay here had I known. That being said, the service around the pool, in the restaurants and housekeeping were all excellent. But it did not make up for the construction.

The restaurant & pool staff at this property is incredible. We stayed 5 nights & enjoyed the service very much. The only problem was the jackhammering everyday with new construction. Wish we would have known before hand as this made relaxing by the pool almost impossible. We made the best of it but an acknowledgement of the noise, by way of discount or other would have been a good move which wasn’t made. Hopefully a letter to the GM will make this right. We would go back but after construction is completed.

Our room that we had booked was given away to other hotel guests. They gave us another room which then we had to check out the next morning and transfer to another room. Our new room was not ready until later that day and we wasted a whole day waiting around. Had to cancel a day of fishing because of the room switch.
