"Location is great off of old fisherman’s warf where whale tours depart. Would stay here again. Had a nice stay. I enjoyed the restaurant on site as well as the cafe-bakery. Crepes, bike rides, pleanty of souvenir shops close by, restaurant options all a short walk away."

"Amazing price for the comfort and quality of stay. One of the best Motel 6’s. And the front desk woman was very kind. This place obviously is a no frills sort of situation, but it’s definitely the best version of that. The value is so good. "

"We had a corner room in the building on the street behind the main property. There was a large patio with amazing views of the town and the ocean. Even though it was January, we still sat outside to watch the sunset. On a chillier evening, we lit the fireplace for a cozy winter evening. The location is terrific - walkable to restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping in the town of Carmel. Typical free breakfast, but good enough to get a start on the day. The room was clean and quiet. I do wish the chairs, both at the table outside and the table inside, had been more comfortable. "
