Its a quaint little locally owned motel . Property was nice , staff was polite . Rooms were a bit cramped if your a larger person or handicapped you will not be able to use the bathroom or shower easily . Its quiet with great views of the bay , and some outdoor seating . and close to town for any of your needs . I would definitely come back again

Very musty smell in Room 101. It was emanating from the wall behind the bed. Also had cobwebs by the bed. Great view.

The location of this property was good with a beautiful view of Lake Superior. It was not the best set up for travellers with no instructions for early checkout and the breakfast, which was advertised, did not start until 8 and was basically a muffin and coffee.

Vacation getaway
This Motel is located in a beautiful spot on Lake Superior. When we checked in the lady at front desk was very helpful with the local falls. Unfortunately with the room we were put in 101, we could hear the employees going in and out of the office as the stairs are located right in front of our window. I gave a 3 star on the cleanliness & comfort, the black sitting chair in the room was uncomfortable to sit in and the wall in the bathroom was dirty.

Nice view of Bay. Bed was comfortable. First thing I seen when I opened door was big stained on old carpet and room smelled musty! I was glad I only booked one night!

The view was incredible; awesome place to watch the sunset. Well maintained outside (flowers, sitting areas, etc.) Office Staff at Check-in was very kind & helpful. Inside the rooms needs some work & cleaning. Bad stains on the carpet, faded out bedspreads, bathroom would be very hard or impossible to get around in, for large or disabled individuals. There was only about 10 inches of clearance next to the shower/tub & limited space around the toilet. The room was way overpriced.

Not sure how this place could get an 8 rating. The room smelled, the bathtub was disgusting, danishes in plastic seal and coffee was “breakfast”, etc. Its a very nice location and nothing more.

Great hotel in Munising right by the water
We spent just one night here to break up the number of traveling hours on the road. Heading to the Keweenaw peninsula. This seems like an older motel but we were surprised at how clean the room was and how comfortable everything was. We had a room upstairs right over the office with a private balcony. That was a little difficult to keep going up and down to take our 2 dogs out. (No elevator) But it was very peaceful, the view of the bay was beautiful. Overall a very pleasant stay. The breakfast was a bit sparse for the over $200 price for a room. Only coffee, prepackaged cinnamon rolls yogurt and juice. But I guess it was enough to call it breakfast. Other rooms had kitchenettes but we didn’t need that. We did had a king bed a refrigerator and a microwave. Would definitely stay here again

The property did have a great location. It had beautiful sunsets over the bay and was close to picture rock and all it had to offer. The property stated it slept 8 and there were 7 of us so that was ok, but the table only had 5 chairs and the living room lacked seating for everyone also. Check in was 3pm and we arrived around 4 and the property had not been cleaned and while they did come and clean it we had to leave while they did so which was not convenient. I will be going to the area again but doubt that I would stay at the location again!

We loved the location. We enjoyed the lake view and being so close to picture rock. We also loved having 2 bedrooms, which is unusual for a motel. I did think the room was too expensive. And updates are needed.

Wonderful place to stay
This was a nice little place on the water that was so quaint and peaceful. The property is older and a little dated but that adds to the character. The room we stayed in had two little bedrooms and living room area. IT was very comfortable and affordable.
