Staff was great. When we first got into our room, we got hit by a terrible musty smell. The bathtub had pain peeling in it. We asked to change rooms which the front desk was able to complete. The second room had the same issue. There are spots where there is damage to the sheetrock that has not been addressed. It was incredibly hard to get any sleep because of the smell. All the above mentioned is cause for concern because we have small children. Because there was a severe thunderstorm happening, we could not switch to a different hotel. Needles to say, we will not be staying at this location again.

AC Needs Attention
We pulled in rather late and ready to sleep. The room appeared clean, and the front desk attendant was friendly, so we were happy with that. The thing that stuck out the most was that the AC in our room didn't appear to be working properly. It was set on 70 and when we walked in it smelled musty and felt damp. We turned it down to 67 and I don't think it actually ever got there. Thankfully we travel with a box fan for sleeping at night, so that helped to tame down the humidity, and kept air flowing. Other thing was that the bathtub was very obviously peeling the top coating and breakfast was very mediocre.

Staff was very friendly upon check in. Lobby looked to be remodeled. The air fresheners in the hallway are just too much. Holy cow!! It was terrible for my asthma and it snuck in to the room from the hallway. The room was musty, very damp and even the bedding and sheets felt wet no matter the temp in the room. Breakfast was limited but decently stocked, pancake machine was not working. Some room updates need to be done, but it was clean and an average stay for one night passing through town.

Older but comfortable.
The hotel is older and shows its age. There is definitely some things that need updated. The A/C unit in our room was a bit noisy. However, the beds were comfortable and everything appeared clean. Breakfast was small but did the job. This was a perfect inexpensive hotel to stop at on a road trip.

The luggage cart was very difficult to maneuver. The outside door was a bit hard to unlock. Once it opened it started to shut quickly and sharp protrusions, I believe are part of latch/lock, tore my left arm open. Insuffucient first aide kit at front desk. Staff only provided with tiny bandaids.
