I stayed with my family for three nights. There were many amenities that made it an enjoyable experience. The staff were professional and pleasant. The food was ok but good wine and beer available. The only complaint I have was that there was only one elevator. It was a busy week and the elevator situation was inconvenient. Furthermore the stairs were on the ends of the hall making it pretty inconvenient to use, if your room was not on the end of the hall.

I enjoyed the mountain view from the hotel. I had a nice quiet stay which was what really wanted. However, the carpet in the room was smelly and the screws in the floor transitioning from the carpet to the dining table is a hazard. I hurt my feet on one of them because the heads stick up above the ground. They need to be covered. Definitely a hazard for kids adults alike.

The property was good in general, but the shower tub was the most slippery tub I've seen in my life(the only thing more slippery would be glass). How more people are not slipping and breaking bones in this property is beyond me. Unless they do.

We absolutely loved our 3 nights at Ax! The staff were all lovely and the property/location was great. Only a 10ish minute drive to the Mont-Tremblant village (we came down to hike the mountain so we loved the location). The pool and sauna were amazing and I already miss utilizing them. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. We heard our upstairs neighbours a little bit on our final morning but nothing too bothersome, just footsteps. If I had to ‘complain’ about anything it’s that I wish there were pool specific towels available in the locker area (we used our second set from the room and they stayed damp but there is a dryer on site if you wanted to dry them) and the food/cocktails weren’t very good at the bar. Overall, I highly recommend Ax Hotel if you’re looking to stay in the area!

Noisy stay
The hotel overall looked good and clean but we were given a room opposite to the kitchen. There was constant noise coming from the kitchen so I ended up asking for a change of rooms to which the receptionist said might incur us cleaning fees. We ended up not changing rooms because my wife had already unpacked but it was unfortunate that the hotel said they might not waive the cleaning fee until their staff determined that we hadn’t “used the room too much”. There was also constant loud noise of flowing from the bathroom above our room. Overall, our stay was too noisy and we didn’t end up getting the much needed rest we needed after our long road trip from Toronto.
