I was placed in possibly the worst room in the hotel, in the bowels of the the hotel, there was no light for me to see where the key should go. then I realized that since the room was right on the street, I would never get a good nights sleep. Then the TV remote didn't work..I took it to the front desk and waited 10 minutes for the receptionist to get a battery.(it was missing one battery)..I could hear her on the phone speaking with someone and had to yell for her to call back the party so I could get back to my room. Finally she came out with a bag of batteries. Went back to the room, inserted the battery...still didn't work, then discovered that that spring on the female part was broken, so no contact was possible. She told me that even the back buttons on the TV might not work as the TV brand was very cheap quality.(I'd never heard of the brand) So back to reception (she was very sweet)...I asked for and got another room upstairs...still could hear cars on highway 1, but better than the first room.
No hair dryer, no rubber bath mat for a very slippery bathtub, no in-room coffee maker, and no lobby coffee.
No amenities...no shampoo, etc. and scratchy sandpaper towels. Bed was OK, room was clean, and TV worked in this room
For a $150/night hotel, I'll give this a 2 star rating, well below Motel 6
