Nice motel. Easy parking. Safe neighborhood. Clean, big bed. Amenities new. Short drive to Monterey aquarium. No breakfast.

We got room 108 and in there was a mouse running around in there. There was the poop of it on the floor and bed as well. We thankfully got changed rooms no problem to the second floor. The price was very fair and the rooms had a microwave, fridge n coffee maker. Maybe the business needs to check the rooms frequently for cleanliness.

Staff was nice with easy check in and check out. Parking is convenient too, and not too far from Monterey or Carmel (15 min drive either option). The hotel room itself though was a bit dirty, mainly the bathroom area. For example, the faucet had some small mold on the side, the toilet paper holder area had some mold, and the shower gel, shampoo, bottles were rusty and dirty. The bed, desk, fridge were fine. The heater also worked which was a great plus. Overall, this was a cheap convenient stay so if you are on a budget, just know what to expect.

The grounds were very nice. Our bathroom had a little mold on the wall and the bathroom sink only had hot water otherwise everything was good. It was close to everything had great price on gas.
