It's a nice hotel with a lot of upgrades. Staff varies from thoughtless to helpful. At check in, the associate read my room number out loud, which is not a great practice. But they were very nice to switch my room when I complained. Bar staff was odd. Good drink but it took about 20 mins. Bar not very busy. Valet could not be nicer or more accomodating. Sort of an uneven experience.

Went to check in after long day of driving only to be told I do not have a room. The hotel clerk told me that Expedia was to call me and email saying that the room was not available and they had overrides the occupancy. I received no phone call and no email regarding this. We called Expedia and they said they would send me an email w list of other hotels. Had to put in a code which I never received. It was a fiasco. We ended up booking ourselves and getting in late to get a room. Very disappointing and exhausting. I hope there is compensation for this. Colleen olson.

The hotel is on a busy but charming Main Street. Decor is tasteful and calming. Service was very attentive. Lots of dining options that you can walk to. Only complaint is that air conditioner was noisy so did not sleep well.

Hotel was lovely! My only complaints were that I noticed when my partner and I got back to the hotel late at night and I crawled into bed there was an odd palm sized stain on top of the blanket and I didn’t see it because it was rolled down from the top. They’re white, and it was the part that was tucked down so there’s no way housekeeping wouldn’t have seen it. It was late and we were so tired, so we just took it off the bed and slept with the sheets. Also, the bathroom door wouldn’t close. I know it’s an older historic building, but you couldn’t even force it to shut.

Overall it was fine but there were several things that could have been better. The parking is Valet only for $20, even though they just park it in a lot right across the street. This is the only hotel I have ever stayed in that had no coffee maker in the room. They say they have it in the lobby for a few hours in the morning, but it was empty.
