"The restaurant had excellent food and the staff were friendly and made the effort to ensure we had an enjoyable time and the hours were very accommodating. For the most part, our room was clean and comfortable with a couple of exceptions. First, the mattress was in bad need of replacement. We spent the night both rolled into the hole in the middle of the bed, so not very comfortable. Second, the bathroom, I'm not even sure where to start. This bathroom was in serious need of a complete renovation. The toilet was the lowest to the floor I have ever seen in my life, very uncomfortable. Both the sink and the tub had large pieces of porcelain missing that were sloppily painted over, but had spots of rust and the grout everywhere was filthy and very badly done. The owners should really be embarrassed. We really enjoyed our stay based on the restaurant and excellent staff, but the bed and bathroom would be deal breakers. If those improvements were made, it would become a favourite place for us to go. "
