The people we worked with were all great. The front desk manager, the activities agent Lori was super great and a few of the staff around the facility. I do however wish the hotel was more updated. It just has an older appearance. Also i wish there was never a bug issue. We do always see some kind of bugs in our rooms/on the floor. Also i wish the bathrooms were spick and span, specially the floors. Oh and the beds are very hard, i dont prefer that firm. For those that do, they will love that! My kids love the indoor water parks tho so its usually worth coming.

Ocean front room was right above the splash pad. That’s all you can hear and see since they never turn the water or the lights off. Shower was either really Fng hot or cold. Oven did not work, no broom to clean the floor with. Walls very thin, we could hear the neighbors and the ones above us. Parking is a block away, never any luggage carts available. Have to walk through the water parks to get to beach. Good luck finding a spot in the hot tubs cause it’s full of kids jumping in and out constantly. Only good things were they got us in early and it’s kid friendly - till 11 pm every night. Oh and the bar let you take your drink to go.

Overall, it was a nice place to stay. The building itself is a little dated and a bit rundown. Most of it seemed clean and tidy. The staff was great and answered all our questions and took care of our issues. Our room was recently updated with very nice tile floors. However, there was a broken door for a closet that came off when my daughter tried to open it. All that being said, the room was huge and had a great view of the ocean. The water park was a lot of fun, and there was a lot to do. It was also well-staffed. We would stay here again.

Lifeguard do better
The entire experience was great! The life guard at the indoor water park needs to do a better job protecting those kids. Their was an adult giving in the 3 ft of water and hit hit his head at the bottom of the people and he stood up and shook it off as of he wasn't hurt. He them encouraged the 8+kids with him and around the pool to start diving between floating devices. Any of them were going to hit the bottom of the pool of the side at anytime and the life guard just stood there. I had to intervene and tell for the lifeguard to look and do his job. The adult admitted he did in fact hurt his neck and back on the dive. Safety in that water should be number 1 with those kids trusting adults with their safety.

Our first room were ok Found one cockroach on the ceiling and one in the bathroom Seems like the property has been battling the fight of an cockroach infestation if you check other reviews of other people stays we Reported it the next day and the manager did try to make it right, they ended up spraying the whole room ect to try to combat the bugs and ended up moving us to a different room that had no problems . Witch did fix everything
