Easily my favorite hotel! Biggest perk for me was that the indoor pool was ACTUALLY warm. So many hotels say heated pool and it is still too cold for my family. This one was perfect temperature–we even brought our 4-month-old in! And there was a movie playing at the pool too! The hotel is also directly across from the aquarium and shops. The staff was all wonderful. And it is very affordable for such a well decorated and clean hotel!

Our room was spotless and the employees were all welcoming and professional. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant and bar. Across the street is a quaint New England style shopping village. Not to forget is the Mytic Aquarium directly across the street. The nearby town of Mystic is charming and full of eating options and shopping.

Staff were rude. The lady at the front desk gave me an attitude right off the bat when we first tried checking in. After looking up the name on the reservation I was told to “try again at 3”. Once we checked in our first room, we had noisy neighbor/guest cursing and yelling at children next to us. The children spilled/broke a perfume bottle and the smell slipped right under the door that splits the two rooms up. This smell was the strongest smell of perfume we have ever experienced and made us all dizzy. The front desk did not offer any options other than moving to a different hotel since they were all booked up. After I refused, their next option was to put us in a room with no window and shared a wall with the pool. Just to reiterate, this room did not have a window or any view of the outside and we were unable to open any window for fresh air. It had a sliding glass door covered in stickers to block view of said pool and doors were unable to be opened up. Not sure how this room is legal/up to code. We chose the chlorine smell over the dizzying / nauseating smell of the first room. Unfortunately we were unable to see outside and had to be a part of the pool scene. The pool itself was nice as well as the common areas. The restaurant was overwhelmed and we were unable to get a seat or try the food. Our room with no window was by the lobby door at least. Mystic is absolutely beautiful but stay away from this hotel. Never again.

There were a couple of front desk clerks that were not customer friendly. The location was good and the rooms were clean.
