Another rubbish stay at The Ace
Once again it was a frustrating stay at The Ace. I had to sleep in another room on my first night because the people in the next room were noisy and the grumpy duty manager wouldn’t do anything about it. (BTW the people in the next room are grandfathered in tenants so watch out for that when you stay.) I was eventually moved into a new room only to then have to put up with noisy music coming from the terrace bar at the Virgin Hotel across the street. It was a joke.

House keeping did a very in consistent job. Toilet clearly not cleaned, toilet paper not replenished. The state of the rooms looks like nothing has been done since opening. It’s a shame. The Ace in Toronto was the reason I chose to stay here. Disappointment

I generally love staying at the ace hotel. However, the New York location truly disappointed. The room was really dark and dingy and had a musky smell to it. Carpet and bathrooms felt a little dirty. Overall, location is perfect. Staff is great. Rooms just need some maintenance.

Second time I staying at the ACE hotel. I strongly recommend this hotel because of several requirements that I personally look in a good hotel . First of all, his location, convinient and accessible to transportation. Secondly, privacy and peacefulness. Lasly the decor blends with the energy and vibes of NY city . Love it

The rooms as per most NY hotels are very small, unfortunately the aircon was only partially working, it seems very stylish when you enter the Lobby but reveals itself a triumph of style over substance.

We used to love this hotel. It's been in slow decline however and now the staff is disorganized enough that they can't complete small tasks like delivering and extra pillow to your room (called three times, but somehow they couldn't complete this simple task). Also, they neglect to tell you that depending on the season they either don't have heating or don't have air conditioning.

Thought this would be a cool spot as it was in a great location but it was extremely disappointing. Dark, dank and mildewy. Our room was really big but the bathroom was so tiny. The tub barely drained and was a mini tub. The carpet was really dark and dirty. Window didn’t close. Everything felt damp and smelled mildewy. It was a confusing place — do people live in the building as well? The lobby was cool and I think ultimately what draws people in. Really wanted to like the place as it was close walking to a lot of places but we hated it. Staff was lovely so not their fault but I would say not for us or a return visit, ever.
