Good value Manhattan hotel with super views
Good hotel with great views from the roof terrace. Although located on Canal St which is not the best, the surrounding areas north and south are great for shopping and eating. Rooms are clean and comfortable and not a bad size for the city. Worth paying for the club room floor to get access to basic buffet breakfast, coffee, soft drinks and snacks throughout the day and a selection of wines and beers at the evening “happy hour”. There may be better located hotels but few will have the view from the roof terrace.

TERRIBLE
no hot water for 5 days - no coffee during the day even though we were paying for club floor. no cocktails until 5 m had to return room service as it was inedible. we asked for a manager on day 2 he came 2 days later while we were sleeping without notice. the club room seats were sopping wet and staff was extremely rude. over $1400 a night? contacting you or amex to charge back.

Hotel was great. They double charged the room on my credit card and when i asked they denied it, even thou i showed my app. It all worked out ok in the end. Slightly rough area around the hotel but close to the subway which was great.

Great hotel for our mini getaway!
The hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and the location was also perfect. We were waking distance from Soho, Chinatown, Little Italy and the Ghostbusters fire station. Only negative was the traffic due to the hotel being on Canal Street where all lanes merge into the tunnel. The traffic was very noisy making it hard to sleep through the night.

Smelly rooms from humidity. Property in poor condition. Shower is rusty. I am fortunate my stay was short. I wouldnt recommend this property at ALL.

Terrific location and connections
I really enjoyed the location, as it gave me further opportunity to explore and discover how New York neighbourhoods link up. The room was great with ample supplies of water and coffee and milk. A deli next door for raisin, cream cheese bagels. An easy walk into Soho. Happy and supportive staff. I appreciated them receiving a couple of parcels for me.
