This hotel was one of our best stays in NYC. Very easy check-in, staff was very helpful. Rooms are very generously sized. Great location and very quiet, didn't know we were in the heart of Manhattan. Looking forward to next visit.

Hotels in Manhattan are always expensive so we did a lot of looking around before booking this hotel. We're so glad we took the time to find this gem as it was perfect for our stay. It's locations makes a great base for midtown exploring or taking the subway or busses further afield. The rooms are very nice and reasonably spacious for a city room. The decor was in great shape and modern in design and the bed was super clean and comfortable. However, the best part of staying at this hotel is the staff. They were polite, helpful and always on hand. We'd definitely stay there again!

The Jewel definitely lives up to its name!
This beautiful hotel is right next door to American Girl store which was a treat for my grandaughter! The staff was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our stay a beautiful one.

As a solo traveler and it being my first time to New York I spent a lot of time finding the right hotel and I was so glad that I chose the jewel hotel because it was perfect in all ways. The staff, the cleanliness and the attention detail were wonderful. Their second floor lounge area was the perfect spot to grab a coffee and then head out the door for an adventure. And when I was too tired to go on an adventure the sushi restaurant and pizza shop next door were delicious. This central location made it so easy to bop around town even as a New York newbie! I can’t recommend this hotel enough and I can’t wait to return next year!

Great location. Clean. Safe. Quick efficient check in. A few maintenance issues. Shower faucet handle fell off, tv remote didn't work, toilet flush button stuck so water ran. A few minor issues but I would stay again.

Kudos to Sandy at reception who was able to weave three separate reservations and a mistake by me into a seamless stay in one of the corner balcony rooms. She went far beyond what anyone else would do to ensure we had a comfortable and happy stay - and greeting us by name every day! Sandy is a gem!
