The place was ok. I feel the 9.4 star rating (the reason I chose it) was way too strong a rating. The room was good the staff was great. Parking…. Nightmare. Unloading….. nightmare. Access to the property….. nightmare. However once we got it it was a great experience. My over all rating for this hotel would be much higher than a 7.5.

It’s a charming small hotel located within walking distance of Central Park and Broadway. However, the service needs improvement. I stayed for three nights, and my room was never cleaned. They didn’t even take out the trash, despite my request.

Most of all, the location is excellent. The every staff, (especially Jesse), was nice and kind. I was secured and relaxed while I stayed in the hotel. It was much better to stay in this hotel than other named hotels. I strongly recommend this hotel to stay if you visit in Manhattan, New York.

I paid for a room with a balcony which came with a view of Rockerfeller Center and Radio City Music Hall. The A/C wasn't working. I was given a very basic room in the back of the hotel looking out a small window at the back of another building. I was not credited for the differnece. And the manager refused tonsoeaknwith me directly.

Bizarre layout, won’t return and don’t recommend
Very poor lobby configuration made check-in awkward and congested. Someone moved my bags without permission as well. No reception area, restaurant, bar, etc. whatsoever for guests to wait or have seating space outside of the room. Found a hair on my desk. Clean otherwise and free upgrade. However, the upgraded room did not fit with type of layout I needed and originally booked. Staff would not help with the one simple logistical request I made during the stay that any standard hotel would accommodate. Zero food available on the property.

It is walkable to Rockafeller center and is mid Manhattan. So quite a lot of places are accessible by either walk or subway. There is no dining or free breakfast. Rooms are small and bit outdated but I guess that's what the area can offer at the price.
