This hotel was a wonderful choice. The lobby was comfortable to lounge in, and there was a shop to pick up snacks as well as a nice and spacious bar to have a drink and relax with friends. The location was convenient to many restaurants, Grand Central Terminal, the Morgan Library, and the promenade along the East River. The staff was always avaliable, helpful and friendly.

Newly renovated and nice art, clean and beautiful. Very small room, old building that you could hear a clanging noise maybe the pipes.

I was surprised that a hotel with so many stars would have mold in its rooms. I chose this place because of I thought it would be a 4-star experience but it was just average, kind of dingy. One of the bathrooms required you to be a gymnast to fit your legs between the wall and the toilet while sitting down (I got 3 rooms). All around, we were disappointed. Bad representation of actual facilities.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for a trip celebrating my birthday. The hotel is very close to Grand Central which made it easy for us to get around easily on the subway. The staff was very friendly and our room was very clean. A good space for the two of us as we didn't spend much time in the room. I would stay at the hotel again if I ever return to the city!

Hotel is nice - nothing special. Rooms are on the smallish side but comfortable. No view out of our 19th floor window which was dispensing. Desk staff was fine but one senior gentlemen was basically telling guests he didn’t want to be there. It was a bit unexpected / unusual. The small food / drink shop did not sell any toiletries and just said they haven’t gotten any more shipments. That was odd as well. The hotel was a nice hotel, but nothing wowed us to the extent of giving it 5 stars.
