The air conditioning in our room did not work, and it took almost two hours for them to send engineers and ultimately move us that took away from our quiet time in the afternoon, which was not fair. We wanted to take a nap and rest up before a party on Halloween. We did not get to do that.

The hotel was ok. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The renovated the bathroom but did a ver poor job. They didnt coordinate it properly and the water was just everywhere. It was a mess. The bed was super uncomfortable. I guess that it served its purpose to have a place to sleep. It was pricy for what it was.

Don't ever stay here... and I mean ever
We arrived to no valet, bell service or security, so we were forced to unload our own vehicle while surrounded by junkies and homeless, then park ourselves a block and a half away. The room is about a small as a I've ever stayed in. Satellite TV was without any signal,so that was a little ridiculous. But the real problem was that the room doesn't have temperature control. 83 degrees when my wife and I woke up choking dry at 3am. We had to open the door to a shared balcony to get the temperature down to 80, and sleep with one eye open because, well, it's a shared balcony. We are here for 1 night only for my brothers wedding. So without a good night's sleep, I now have to let my wife get ready here, and I'll get the car so I can sweat the loading, and then wait until I get to the church to put my suit on. This is easily the worst hotel experience I've ever had. $600 for the night and I don't think the description of a "dump" begins to cover it.

The rooms themselves are nice. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is just not great. Not unsafe but shady if you walk a few blocks in the wrong direction. For me, I'd rather pay a bit more and be in the Village.

We were only there a couple of days, but we very much enjoyed the hotel. It was clean and comfortable. Plus the room had great views. The only disappointment was that the roof bar wasn't open, but no big deal. Probably the best part of the place is the lobby staff. The two woman (Abigail and Amanda) who helped us were absolutely awesome.

Great location in Chinatown...easy walk to Little Italy, Freedom Tower, the Oculus, Brooklyn Bridge and Wall Street, and the Village. Hotel was immaculate, modern and a great daily rate.

The room and beds were good but i didn't enjoy the bathroom. The shower didn't have a door and water kept splashing out and wetting the floor. The water pressure on the bathroom faucet was too much and we kept get splashed. The bathroom was definite negative.
