The breakfast food area was impeccable. The chafing dishes were sparkling clean, the countertop areas were impeccable. That whole area was so welcoming. The staff person in there was friendly and very professional. The hotel room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The place was relatively quiet.

Nice place but weird at checkout.
Hotel was great until about 10 am; I took a few bags to my car and came back and my key didn't work. Rode down the elevator with another group with the same problem. The front desk agent said the keys always deactivate early, which is absurd. Lots of extra running around for no good reason!

I had to ask the supervisor on duty to move her vehicle so that I could get my wife who is in a wheelchair in the front door. I would also suggest that you put wheelchair handicapped accessible rooms on the bottom floor in case of fire. The room itself was fine except for the carpet. It is hard to push a wheelchair on the carpet, also I use a lift to transfer my wife it was really hard to push it on the carpet. The bathroom was too small it was really hard to get the lift and my wife onto the commode. There was another vehicle parking in the same spot partially blocking the front door. I am assuming it is the daytime supervisor as it was there from the time we came down for breakfast until we left couple hours later.

Easy access to I-80. Easy check-in. Friendly staff. Flickering bathroom lights forced us to shower in the dark. Bathroom towels were so rough, it was like drying with burlap. Bathroom sliding door was so sticky, it required both arms and full strength to open and close. Impossible for my wife.

Top notch hotel!!!
We absolutely love this hotel. It is one of our very favorite hotels. We have stayed here before. Everything was above the normal average. Checkin was super easy and very pleasant. The man checking us in ....I think his name was Ron....went above and beyond. He is very personable. He answered our questions and even visited with us for a few minutes since we were the only ones in the lobby. He even gave us a sheet with recommended restaurants and told us ones that he personally enjoys. We took his advice and enjoyed a nice meal. The room was very clean. They have the nice little soaps and lotions in the room...which i enjoyed.The bed was excellent, in fact we slept in and totally missed breakfast. We plan on staying here again! They do it right at this hotel..everyone was very kind and pleasant.

We have stayed in Ogallala at least twice a year for many years on our way to CA to visit our families every summer. We have always dreaded this night because the places we have stayed, even those with high ratings have always proven to be noisy, have uncomfortable beds, and lack any “dining “ options by the time we hit town. This time we chose this Best Western and had a wonderful, and quit nice sleep and the Wendy’s across the street stayed open late. Will definitely seek out this establishment on next year’s travels!
