We had been told by a few locals to be aware of your surroundings. Not everywhere is safe. However, we loved the cleaniiness of the room, and dining options only a block or two away by foot.

The hotel was clean, modern and updated. Unfortunately it sits right at the edge of a major street, so there is some traffic noise. The window of my room faced the street. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The amenities were clean, modern and inviting. My only real issue is the matress in my room was extremely firm. Being a side sleeper, it was very uncomfortable. Aside from the matress issue for me personally, I would still highly recommend this hotel. Convenient, clean and appeared to be a safe area of town. As a retired police officer, I never got a negative feeling that you get when the area seems crime ridden. I would definitely recommend for a family friendly hotel.
