"An impressive stunning Andaman 180 degree sea view for our 2 bed rooms, huge balcony seaview appartment. Clean cosy , fully equipped service appartment with cleaned crockery / cutlery / microwave / fridge. A smooth and fast check-in experienced with Front Desk as we booked paid via expediate in advance. Tanjung Point Residence are situated 45 minutes away from Penang International Airport by cab. Distance travel for most local places of interest for example George Town, Kimberly Street , Penang Hill are approximately 25 to 40 minutes by Grab Cab. Even we need any supper during late night Grab food are available. A Spanish restaurant Hola Tapas Bistro by Javu are situated in Tanjung Point Residence , simple decent tapas and steaks with great attentive service are available . The News convenient shop are available too in this property. As this property in house guests are accessible to the private beach with white sand via room cards tag at the entrance of before entering beach gate. My family have a cosy unwind memorable experience at Tanjung Point Residence. Thank You for your fantastic Penang hospitality from 13th August to 15th August 2024 . "

"The apartment is a good size and has a partial sea view. That’s the good part! The checkin was difficult as we didn’t receive checkin instructions and when we contacted the host he couldn’t find our booking! We were fortunate to have acquired a local SIM card otherwise we would not have been able to communicate. The lobby has no WiFi. The property description said toilet paper and shampoo and hand soap were provided but they weren’t. The cooktop doesn’t work. There was no dish detergent to do the washing up. There was a washing machine but no laundry detergent. The main bathroom had a large occurrence of black mold on the ceiling creating a terrible odor which made it unbearable to use the adjoining bedroom and that bathroom. The other bathroom also had mold but not as bad. When we raised these issues with the host he did nothing and only promised to deliver the toilet paper and soap etc after numerous messages. Despite his assurances he did not deliver the items until 9pm on the evening before our checkout by which time we had gone to bed!! And this was only after we had complained to our booking platform and he had to obviously answer to them. I have never encountered a more unreliable and unresponsive host and would not recommend this property at any price. "

"We had a lovely time at Lilian’s place following a week stay in Georgetown. Straits Quay has a quieter feel with plenty of restaurants and walkable area next to the sea. It’s further away from the central activities but not a problem to get a grab for transport. There is a convenient grocery located immediately outside the condo residence. We could also walk easily to Lotus. Lilian was very accommodating to our check in and informative about the surrounding areas. Great time."
