This is not a inexpensive motel. I was expecting more for my money and before I stay in another Red Lion I will go check out the nearest one to my home. This motel also adds on lots of extra costs so make sure you check out all those fees. The area is not extra special either.

Fair- dated and not super clean
This was a fair stay. Very dated hotel. Bathroom floor was not clean and our floor had not been sweet or mopped. For the price, there was no daily housekeeping other than delivering fresh towels. It was fine but not a repeat.

Great location! Close to everything. Easy walk to the bus station, great restaurants, and ferry. Also there is a nice walking/bike trail by the water right out front. The room wasn’t the cleanest. The floors were pretty dirty actually. The staff was friendly and helpful and the bed was comfortable.

The front desk people that was working when I checked in was very help and accommodating. I went back to the front desk later that evening about 730/8pm there were 2 people working, there was someone in front of me that was getting help by 1 person the other front desk person didnt acknowledge me so I waited in line for about 5 mins or so. She just ignored me, once the other front desk person was done with the guest she helped me. What didnt sit right the other front desk person who saw me standing there quickly helped the person in the back of me. Very rude she was in a white shirt. Bathroom walls need to be scrubed mold is buliding up.

The outside of the building needed a little TLC but I was pleasantly surprised going into the room after seeing the outside. The room is very nice and updated inside. Also very roomy. I will add they were painting the exterior the day we left so hopefully that will help it look a little more updated! Overall great stay.

The property has a great location and is nice by Port Angeles standards, but it’s nothing special. The restaurant is mediocre. The hotel uses seasonal pricing. Expect to pay $350-$400 per night in the summer.

The red lion was undergoing extensive exterior remodel in one area. The rooms were clean, however our friends who had a waterfront view, stated that the furniture was dirty. Parking was a challenge late in the evening. The total cost per day was higher than stated with all the additional taxes fees, etc. However, if I am in that area, I would stay at the hotel again. The restaurant next-door is excellent.
