it was privet to guest only ,staff worked hard to make your stay fun and enjoyable check in was slow and the worst back NO ELEVATORS after walking to activities and restaurants long walk back to rooms #rd floor no elevator!

the trip was awesome! the property has a ton of food options and good food too, and lots going on all the time. the beach is pretty and clean. the excursions were fun but it would be nice to have a clearer description of what they include and how the day is planned, but other than that they were great and the tour guides were awesome. All the drinks were amazing, but don’t get too crazy with them and sprain your ankle because the doctor is at the neighboring resort.

Property and setting was beautiful. Buffet staff was extremely attentive. Staff in restaurants, not so much. We could not reach front seat 2 might a in a row due to safety / noise concerns in early morning hours. Some of the rooms had broken handles, light switches not working, missing door to the toilet.

We loved this property for our trip in early March! The water wasn’t as blue as the photos, however it was still clear if it didn’t rain that day and the beach was pretty. A little rocky in some areas but if you walked down the beach, it was clear! The food was excellent, the servers had excellent hospitality. Some of the servers did seem a little pushy at the Italian restaurant when we denied wine but the other restaurants it wasn’t a problem. We enjoyed the pizza and gelato shops that were in the all inclusive package. The drinks were excellent. They cleaned your room daily, if you wanted, in which they restocked the mini fridge. You could also get more bottled water at the sports bar. Overall we loved this resort!

Everything was wonderful until the appointment to become a member of the suites and longterm investment. I dont like the wsy this happened and being a adult and controlling myself i will leave this at that. You never know who you are working with and what they can afford especially speaking to someone.

The room has some mold smells when we first went in the room and we called the front desk for service and they sent us a lady she sprayed some Clorox spray around the room and took the smell away but it came back a little bit the reason why there's mold smell is because of rain issues there's no drainage holes for water to go through so it sits in the grass areas outside where the patio area is I'm not sure if they have building inspections In Puerto Plata but this would resolve the issue with many areas in the resort we stayed in room 502 building #5 there we were other people complaining about the same problem in different rooms and buildings we spoke to some people on the resort and they also had people with light blue shirts with khaki pants coming to us pressuring us about this VIP room we didn't not like that pressure as soon as we were going to get breakfast the following day that we arrived and the days we were there until the last day we were there we were asked about the VIP we told them several times that we were not interested otherwise everything else was pleasant the service was very good people were very nice and friendly and the food was very good probably won't come back because of the pressure of the VIP package that seems a little bit fishy to my wife and I! The entertainment was very very good and activities it's best for people to enjoy if your single person with kids but that's so you won't get asked about the VIP???

The food was ok but honesyly i would come back here. I tried to leave the very next day and they wouldnt let me. They said they would try to fix the issues first. The phones ne er worked in any of the rooms. The TV was on amd off. The wifi was ridiculous. When it rained the room would get ao flooded it was insane. I was left with no towels. Also the gotel doewnt probode hand towels or soap. Crazy!!

The view is beautiful, and the entertainment staff is solid - but the front desk staff and customer care desk staff is so rude. The buffet food is average at best, and they only let you book 1 ala carte restaurant - so make sure you bring Imodium AD with you. The rooms are run down, the AC barely works. They ran out of Vodka and Rum during our stay - no specialty drink menu - the drinks are not great - only one beer available. We made the best of our vacation as we were with great friends and the weather was amazing - but I would not return to this resort.

This stay was a nightmare from elms street! First night they didn’t notify me that the outlets are European so I couldn’t charge my phone! The shower was so small in the room that the shower curtain kept sticking to me while I showered! The next morning I find little mini spiders all over my cellphone! And underneath it just crawling around’ I lost my mind, and only to get out of bed and see some in there too! So I went and complained and they changed my room AND CHARGED ME EXTRA for changing my room only to get to the new room and there wasn’t any AC WORKING OR WATER!! It was soooo hot my room was like a sauna ! I couldn’t bare it and on top of this! The power kept going out every hour! Then they changed me to ANOTHER ROOM and the AC worked perfectly fine, but there was still no water ! I needed to brush my teeth and shower and get ready for my day! I was so frustrated at this point, I went and complained! I wanted my money back & they kept avoiding that question! Only to change me to ANOTHER ROOM. All that moving around and moving luggage put me in such a bad mood I decided to go stay somewhere else , but sadly they couldn’t refund me my money! I was so upset with this whole situation, not to mention their food was not the best! It was so gross I barely ate anything on the resort. So moral of the story! BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU BOOK HERE! I don’t want you experiencing the same thing that I did!
