The staff is very friendly and service was excellent. You can tell they want you to have a good time. Food was very good- better than some all inclusive resorts I’ve stayed at in the past. Bar tenders are quick to serve drinks too! The rooms are clean and are refreshed daily. Very pleased with my experience. Will definitely book again in the future!

Excellent service, from the very first minute we stepped into the property Miguel (Butler) made sure we had everything we could need to have a great time in the property. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. September is slow month in PV, and the resort was not at all crowded, which was nice. We had a room with two queen beds instead of a king, but a king would have been a different category grade of room. All the rooms have beautiful, large, ocean-view balconies. A/C was great. Everything was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Loved having a choice of many pillows. Two disappointments were the restaurant where the food was very bland, and the beach had very difficult entry and exit from the water. You can't blame the hotel for that because the beach had a steep pitch into the water which caused a difficult undertow when exiting. Once in the water and past the small breakers, the land fell away and you're quickly in deeper water. Few people went into the swimming area despite the presence of lifeguards. The vendors on the beach were annoying and brazen. They are supposed to stay beyond the roped-off area, but didn't. We've been to Mexico more times than we can count and expected vendors. However, the use of loud clown horns to attract attention detracts from peacefully relaxing at the beach. Not the resort's fault. In general, this is a very small, quiet resort. Maybe it's livelier in busier months, but it was pretty dead after dinner. September wasn't a great choice for various reasons. If it's not raining, it's sunny and humid with rain threatening in the evenings. Some restaurants downtown close until October.

We loved the welcome glass of bubbly when we arrived and were graciously greeted by multiple staff! We had a oceanfront, balcony room with a great view of the sandy beach out front. The room was spacious with comfortable beds, a nice big shower, and drinking water was provided each day. The pools were great, and we enjoyed the swim up bar. The wait staff in the restaurants were exceptionally attentive. The food was very good and well-presented. Suggested improvements: beds need a nice looking lightweight blanket instead of just a sheet, the decorative strip on the bottom of the bed needs replacement, there could have been more variety on the food. We definitely would return to this hotel and highly recommend it!

Stayed here from Oct 2 to 6. The hotel staff are very friendly and nice, and all hotel rooms are oceanfront. It was a very enjoyable getaway experience. The food is delicious. Probably because October isn't peak season, the hotel and pool area are relatively quiet and relaxing. There is new construction for future expansion; The capacity will be tripled in the future. One little surprise is that the hotel bill charged us for premium internet access for one day, even though we never connected to the premium internet. The front desk lady helped us resolve the mistake on the bill.

Just returned from the Sunset Plaza ! The service and friendliness of the staff was amazing ! Everything was very very clean and well maintained! The resort was very quiet with only one main dining option per night because of low season. However there was pizza and a snack coffee shop open as well ! We were very impressed with our overall stay - the only area that could be improved is the food choices for supper - menu was very limited but the meals we had were quite tasty ! Special shout out to our Butler Rueben and activity director Raul !! Thanks for a great holiday !

Very clean property, the rooms were clean, the housekeeping did a fantastic job. The food was absolutely outstanding. The thing I loved a lot was the fragrance in the lobby area and the limen smell. Only had one issue, when wanted to take food to the room, the waitress Regina was very rude with a very bad attitude. Felt very uncomfortable. Everything else was just amazingly good.
