Carpeting outside elevator and in hallways old, torn and rippling. Found little bugs floating in juice from the breakfast buffet.

I was surprised at how much the hotel was in disrepair. As soon as I walked in the front lobby I noticed so many spots where the drywall was falling off the walls and ceilings from water damage. Several places had frayed carpet that was also "wavy" from it lifting off the floor (tripping hazard). The desk in the room had some sort of epoxy or glue smeared on the top. I never expected this from a Hampton Inn! The bed and bathroom were clean.

Missing fire alarm in our room- just electric cords hanging out of ceiling, one lamp shade needed to be replaced it was so damaged and water damage above kitchen sink. Overall it was clean - it needs some basic things repaired.
