The hotel was conveniently located 10 min from thunder valley and the highway. We slept comfortably and enjoyed the free room upgrade. Decent breakfast with GF options!

I had to travel to the area for an early morning eye surgery, so we chose to stay the night before in the Roseville area. I highly recommend TownePlace Suites by Marriott. We were greeted warmly by Tyler at the front desk. He asked me if we had a preference of which floor we preferred. We asked for the ground floor and he made it happen. He also gave us recommendations of nearby restaurants. Our king bed suite was well appointed with a full kitchen, a desk, a couch and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom had full sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The free breakfast had eggs, potatoes, waffles, cereals, fruit, fresh baked muffins, a variety of juices and fresh brewed coffee a few steps away in the lobby. My husband really loved the breakfast, but unfortunately I was fasting for my surgery. However, he surprised me with a delicious apple cinnamon muffin and a perfectly fresh banana after my surgery. The property itself was very clean, inside and out. There is a small indoor pool which would be nice for children, but it isn’t really big enough to actually swim. I do wish that there had been a hot tub as well. There was also a well equipped gym near the pool. In conclusion, my husband and I highly recommend staying here and if we find ourselves in the Roseville area in the future we will definitely stay here again! Joanne S.

Had a very nice stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was above our expectation and we liked having the different breakfast options besides eggs, sausage, and potatoes. The only issue was that we noticed a bit of a sweaty, damp smell in our room. I’m guessing it was the carpet. Perhaps it needs to be deep cleaned and steamed. Also there should be a means of ventilation in the room even if we can only open the windows partially, it would’ve been nice to have some fresh air flow in the room. Perhaps that’s why the room smelled damp and stuffy…there was no means for additional airflow from outside because the windows cannot be opened. Overall, our stay was pleasant and we will definitely stay again sometime. Also, thanks to the staff for being welcoming and helpful, especially at the front desk:)
