Walking in to the hotel is a pleasant experience. It is nicely decorated and the desk clerk was smiling and kind. The room was huge and it had a walk-in closet with a dresser in it. Also, a fridge, two robes, hair dryer, cotton balls and q-tips,shampoo,cond.,soap,lotion and coffee. The beds are small doubles, not queens. One was comfortable the other was really hard. Oh ya and a t.v. Now to the cons. It was advertised to have a cafe, which I saw in the lobby but it was shut down. At the desk the guy literally said," your card will be charged $25.00 to cover the fitness center and the FREE WIFI "!! Are you kidding? So, be aware of the hidden charges. The only bad thing about the room was no air!! The hall had air condition but when we open the room door it was hot and stuffy. There is a fan on the ceiling that I could only feel if sitting under it. The one window that would open, opened to a fire escape. This worried me for safety reasons, like is someone going to climb thru the window at night? The window is the only way to get cool air. Please keep in mind that it is down town S.F. so no hotel parking. A half a block up is a parking garage that charges $30.00 for overnight parking.
