"We LOVED Paitilla. They honored our request for a view of the pool and the bay with city skyline. Absolutely gorgeous through a huge glass wall. One of the prettier hotels we’ve stayed at in a long time. The breakfast was delicious and laid out nicely with a large amount of options. We might even go back to Panama City because of our experience there and the nice wide pathway and grassy area along the ocean front and skyscrapers. It felt safe around the area and Ubers were very reasonable and extremely quick to arrive. The only issue we had was getting the attention of servers who rarely came back and checked on you even after going across the room to retrieve them! They seemed disorganized and poorly trained/managed. Their Sunday night barbecue was extremely good, but it had the appearance of being a buffet, yet we were told we were not to go through the line and they would bring us what we wanted, but they never asked what we wanted in a clear way! And salads and soups were help yourself, but not the rest of the meal in the ‘buffet’. A simple stand with a sign would have solved this confusion. If they would teach their waiters or waitresses to say, I only speak limited English, it would help people from other countries to communicate. Nice gym and large pretty pool area. "
