The Comfort Inn Schererville provided a easy check-in. The room was clean and comfortable. Just a note that the room is not equipped with USB outlets so a USB adapter that plugs into a standard outlet should be brought to charge your phone or laptop. The breakfast was free with the room and typical fare. The dining area was kept clean. The hotel was a good option at the pricepoint. I would stay again and recommend to travelers.

Good location, close to several restaurants, shopping and main intersection of Rt 30 & 41. Staff was nice. Public areas were clean and comfortable. Room was clean. Needs a new shower head though. Good breakfast. I would stay here again.

It was good enough for one night. When we got in our room everything was damp like they didn’t dry the bed comforters all the way. And the breakfast was not very good. But like I said it was good enough for the night.

The property is under major construction. I was on a floor where all the windows were open in the rooms that weren’t being used made me feel unsafe. Also the room I stayed in wasn’t the cleanest. I do like that they had hot fresh breakfast every morning. Outside of that I think the condition it’s in is not worth $100 a night.

Eco-Greenwashing
To start the piping in the bathroom was stopped up to the point we had to change rooms. Downhill from there as new room had an awful load neighbor and ants in the bathroom. Furthermore, there was nothing eco-friendly about Comfort Inn. Nothing is recycled, plastic is everywhere from cups, forks to bottled toilettes. Paper products are source from virgin woods. All-in-all, I give Comfort Inn an F- when it comes to the environment.
