Although this place is a but older, it's very clean. The staffs are amazing. The had some complimentary activities to do and s'mores everynight. I will definitely stay there again next time we visit. Listen to their recommendations you won't be disappointed.

So when booking for this place you need to read fine prints because I didn’t realized when I booked that they have booked me at Delaware Lodge, which the room is decent and clean. But the entrance has broken furniture and leakage from the ceiling. I have to call the front desk to give us soap since there’s none in the room

The rooms need to be updated a bit, there is poor ventilation. The bathroom doors have wood coming off of them. The staff was amazing and super helpful.

So we booked last minute with a last check in and front desk was very friendly. When I called to let therm know that we would be after 10pm the front desk advised me that I was not in the main building. We wanted to 2 queens so ended up saying in another building. Main building looked super cute but can’t advise on condition of the rooms. As for the building we stayed in it needed some major repairs. BUT clean and the MOST comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in.

It is in a great location and has wonderful views of the river and mountains. The inn has a very festive and cozy atmosphere during Christmas. Friendly staff. We learnt interesting historic facts about the inn.

One of my family’s happy places. The inn has a great aura of history to it and they capitalize on this with their various activities. This time my family did the Christmas tram tour out to Santa’s workshop on the golf island. So rustic and fun. We highly recommend Shawnee Inn

We stayed here a few years ago and we loved it. Unfortunately the pool was closed during our stay (we did get a call notifying us the day after we booked). All facilities were closed due to a private event. We went for a night to relax and enjoy the bar/restaurant but we couldn’t so we had to drive to a different location for a restaurant. Make sure you call before your stay to make sure they are opened. Rooms weren’t in the best condition, but they were clean. The room and bathroom were really cold even though we turned up the heat. Staff was friendly. Overall, ok. Wont return though. Thank you!

Family Tradition
Our Thanksgiving tradition continued with our yearly trip to Shawnee Inn. It's the perfect retreat for what our family desires on this holiday, combining history with good old fashioned hospitality. Also loved seeing golf still being played with the install of the permanent bridge. We will be back undoubtedly.
