Cute historic property
Not complaining for the price but the hotel is old and on the main drag so it's not quiet. Had to run the AC for white noise. Pool is great in the summer. Staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast is okay but not great. But like I said, for the price it's pretty good and just fine for an overnight stay. I wouldn't stay for more than one night though. I would spend more money and stay at a nicer property.

Our bathroom exhaust fan did not work and the window is painted shut. After the first night I notified the front desk in person but they never fixed the fan. We put up with it one more day and checked out.

Good location.
Older place. My buddy and stayed while on a fishing trip. It was fine for us. My wife probably would not be impressed. Nice location in downtown. Walkable to Diamondback Grill which is excellent.

Love the old character of the hotel 1850. They served breakfast in the old saloon the old bar is still there nice breakfast. The breakfast manager- cook was very helpful had a great attitude

I checked in and received my room key. I went to the room and it was moldy, musty, stunk. Bedspread was dirty, window seals had thick dust like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Yellow mildew stains on the bathroom ceiling. Pool was dirty and nasty, seats outside of the room to sit and relax looked like they hadn't been cleaned off in years. The smell in the room was so disgusting I went to Kohls and got an air purifier and some candles but those didn't help either. I wouldn't even bring my clothes in the room because just being in the room for 15 min my hair and clothes were permeated with the gross smell of the room. This place was so disgusting that I went and got another room somewhere else in town, I was not about to stay there one more minute.

The bed and the breakfast were great!
I understood that this hotel was historical but it was disappointing that it did not have a refrigerator for my leftovers. The room was 88 degrees when I got there at 7:30 pm and the A/C unit was so high I couldn’t see the controls. Since there was no phone in the room I had to go down the stairs 2 floors to the front desk for help. Some signage in the room with the office # and maybe some instructions for operation as well as for checking out would be helpful. The room key is an actual key. Also, the blow dryer didn’t work, the back up blow dryer barely blew and there was no shampoo or conditioner. The breakfast was nice tho, with quiche, muffins, waffles, etc. Better than most hotels for that. The bed was comfortable too. Easily fix the above mentioned and it would be great!
